Charles Krauthammer has a piece in the WaPo about
Arafat's legacy. Most of the world is mourning the loss of this supposedly peace loving man. In reality this man was probably the godfather of radical Islamic terrorism. People say that he was a champion of the Palistinian people......yeah right. He made tons of money because he led the fight against Israel. Make no mistake about it, to the Palistinians and to Muslims in the middle east, the "peace process" is another term for the destruction of the nation of Israel and lots of dead Jews. It's ironic that Arafat may have done more for actual peace by dying than he did while he was alive.
