If it quacks like a filibuster, chances are it is one

Congressional Democrats are starting to remind me of preschoolers. Preschooler bullies play a game where they stick their pointer finger really close to their fellow playmates and try to annoy them by saying "I'm not touching you, I'm not touching you".

Democrats in regard to the John Bolton nomination are runing around with a different finger sticking out saying "it's not a fillibuster".

Check out Byron York's commentary in The Hill: If it quacks like a filibuster, chances are it is one.

This just confirms for me the uselessness of The Deal cut last week. The Democrats are going to be obstructionist reagardless of how much we try to cooperate with them. That's the only way they know how to act at this point. They are struggling not to fall completely out of power. But just ask Tom Daschle how obstructionism helps your electability.
