In addition to these loopholes, which I suspect don't even scratch the surface, I am concerned about enforceability. The last immigration bill we passed in 1986 is still not being enforced.
And creating a gigantic bureaucracy is not going to keep us safe, in fact it will only benefit our enemies and people who break our laws. Just think about how good bureaucracies have been at handling New Orleans after a hurricane.
I sincerely hope that this bill dies a slow horrible death.
