The Red Sox are World Champions this morning after sweeping the Rockies. After being down 3-1 in the ALCS they flipped a switch somehow and got amazingly hot and ripping of 7 straight wins.
Actually it must be a great time to be a sports fan in Massachusetts. The Red Sox are baseball champs, the Patriots are making the rest of the NFL look like Pop Warner rejects, Boston College is number two in the BCS after beating my Hokies(grrrr!), and the Celtics are getting ready to unleash their best team since Bird retired.
The only thing they have to be ashamed of is the Kerry/Kennedy team.
