Seriously, though, Kilgore set out an ambitious agenda, which I’ll deal with soon. The pageantry of the evening was unmatched, especially so if you are a political junkie like me. There’s nothing like electoral politics, and a campaign kickoff event with big speakers, big crowds, and lots of confetti – sign me up for that every time.

Sounds exciting, I wish I could have been there.
