Clinton Plays Race Card

Hillary Clinton yesterday played the race card in attempting to advance the "culture of corruption" meme. While speaking at Al Sharpton's MLK event she claimed that the House was being run like a plantation:
Controversial Words At Sharpton's MLK Event:

Clinton actually got an easy question. “I need you to tell us what distinguishes Democrats from Republicans right now,” she was asked.

Clinton's answer was provocative.

Said Clinton, “When you look at the way the House of Representatives has been run, it has been run like a plantation and you know what I'm talking about..."
Not only was this incredibly insulting to black people and very innapropriate considering the day, it's remarkably hypocritical.

Aside from Barak Obama when was the last time a black democrat won an election? If you put the Democratic leadership in a room together it would look like a Moose Lodge meeting. And who created the welfare system? You know the system that locks poor blacks in to cycle of dependance on the Government(read Master), meanwhile the government tells them it's for their own good. Yeah that would be the Democratic party.

Oh and btw which party's President nominated a black judge the the supreme court? Who has three black congressmen in leadership positions? Which party has four black candidates running for senator and govenorships this year? Mmmhmm you guessed it, the Republican party.

If she really believes that the Republicans are racist plantation owners then how about she come up with a way to make things better for blacks? And no, "make all the Republicans disapear because they are mean" does not count as an idea.

Or maybe she meant that she felt like she was being made to pick cotton in the senate because her party can't win elections. That might be it, she might be mad at the elected Republicans for governing based on Republican ideas. Or she might have just been using the black people for cheap political gain in an attempt to bring the Democrats back in to power. Who does she think she is? Newt Gingrich? Wait nevermind, Newt actually had ideas on ways to change things.
