If I were John Kerry, if and when I lose the election in November I would just blame it on my wife. The Catsup Weirdo has been shooting her mouth off again at the President:
By sending American troops to Iraq instead of to Afghanistan, Bush permitted Osama bin Laden to escape, Heinz Kerry said.

"Osama bin Laden is Osama been lost," she said.

"The Taliban is back running Afghanistan," Heinz Kerry said.

Iraq under Saddam Hussein was not a hotbed on terrorism, but it is now, she said.

"No American boy or girl should lose their lives for oil," she said.
First of all how would she know one way or the other about OBL? No sane government official would let someone like her near sensitive information. Secondly we did not shift any troops from Afganistan to Iraq, or at least the numbers stayed the same. We have some of the top military minds working on the situation in Afganistan. And that's in addition to the people working on Iraq. She is not in a position to criticize them at all. Of course John echoed this sentiment in the debates in a patently ridiculous insinuation, he would probably know better if he went to intelligence briefings one in a while. And speaking of ridiculous: Afganistan is not being run by the Taliban, they are getting ready to have elections for the first time in their history. Maybe she has a contest going with John to see which one of them can insult or denigrate more people who are fighting the war on terror. I wonder if John gets to count the insults his sister throws out.

Maybe she doesn't read the papers, if she did she would know that oil is hovering around $50 a barrel. And that no Texas based oil company is getting any money from the oil coming out of Iraq. This is a line from the wacko ex-hippie leftists who hold the signs "No Blood for Oil". And if they were paying attention, instead chanting with their guru, they would know that Oil is not the reason we went to war in Iraq. I personally think we should be using Iraqi oil to offset some of the costs of the war. Not the oil itself, that would throw the economy for a loop. But we spent lots of money winning freedom for Iraq. I don't think it's unreasonable to use some of the proffits of the oil sales to offset the costs of the war. But if anything like that were suggested the wackos and both Senators from Massechewsits would raise such a ruckus that any politician would be toast. Instead all of it comes out of our own pocket, and Kerry complains about that too. But as far as the oil goes I am glad that it is the Iraqi people who benefit from it and not a ruthless dictator. Capitalism is wonderful when it's not corrupt. And Tereza's probably just just mad that her French friends aren't benefitting from it anymore.
